The ACT test is a college entrance exam covering English, reading, math, and science. It measures what students have learned in high school, so taking the right courses is important.
The ACT is a computer-based exam and has four sections: English, Reading, Math and Science, as well as an optional 30-minute writing test. The entire exam includes 215 multiple-choices questions and takes about 2 hours and 55 minutes to complete. The optional essay requires an additional 40 minutes.
