Một số bài Personal Statement mẫu

7.1 Business and Management (Marketing) Personal Statement

I am constantly exposed to the world of economics and business because I live in London, which is rated as the top city for business, innovation, and culture. My initial exposure to marketing and its possibilities came from a lecture given by Neil Wirasinha, vice president of digital marketing at NBCUniversal. In his lecture, he discussed the various marketing strategies employed to promote the movie Fast and Furious 7. I found it fascinating to learn about the interaction between more established traditional marketing strategies and cutting-edge digital marketing strategies, as well as how these global campaign’s overarching strands were translated into local campaigns for different audiences and nations. Working on the campaign that helped the movie shatter many box office records and earn $1.5 billion globally sounds fascinating to me. I hope that one day I will be able to state that I was a part of such a motivational campaign and that my marketing suggestions might have the kind of impact and influence that would result in such amazing achievement.

I’m now pursuing A-Levels in English Language, Media, and Cinema Studies. These, in my opinion, have given me a wealth of practical knowledge and a solid grasp of marketing concepts. I’ve studied marketing techniques employed by major media industries in media studies, and I’ve created my own marketing campaign to go with my practical creation of a movie trailer/music video. In my studies of the film industry, I have learned about a range of marketing techniques, from using digital technology for viral campaigns to how marketing can assist British films thrive despite Hollywood’s dominance to how marketing can help international films succeed. Understanding the power of language and honing my ability to communicate clearly and effectively via the study of the English language are skills I can use to develop persuasive marketing campaigns that resonate with the intended audience. All three topics have helped build my analytical and critical thinking skills since they allow me to study and understand the production and influence of a number of various media products and texts.

Being accepted into the Media Academy program at my school made me very happy. This has been very helpful to me and opened up some wonderful chances, such as a six-week paid internship at Global Blue Inc., a firm that publishes travel magazines. With this internship, I learned about the working world, gained experience therein, and developed a deep understanding of marketing and the significance of brands. I was required to conduct research on various fashion labels from throughout Europe and Asia, make calls to possible clients abroad, and organize schedules for my group during the internship. My networking and organizational abilities have improved as a result, and I believe they will be useful in college. During London Fashion Week, I also volunteered at the Hunter Fashion Show, which improved my communication and leadership abilities. These abilities were essential given that the event was live in order to assure its seamless operation. Fortunately, I handled the pressure well and was happy to be able to help the show succeed.

I am a responsible, industrious, young man who is keen to pick up new talents. I enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, and I always give the team a cheerful vibe. I can function well both on my own and in larger teams. I enjoy watching movies and documentaries and playing sports in my free time. I really like marketing, as proven by the fact that I’ve already landed two internships in the field. By pursuing a degree in marketing, I look forward to expanding my knowledge and stoking my interest for the field. I am eager to take advantage of all the chances that university life has to offer. We don’t recall days; we remember moments, as Cesare Pavese once stated. I simply hope to experience many of these “moments” during my stay in college.

7.2 Economics Personal Statement

Growing up in the aftermath of an economic catastrophe that has an impact on both my present and my future is what first sparked my interest in studying economics. My generation will confront significant challenges as we graduate from school and enter the workforce due to the enormous increase in unemployment and poverty that came after the great crisis. Economics is a subject that is based on current events that have an impact on people’s lives all around the world. The fact that it is continuously changing, expanding, and there is always more to discover and understand about it, in my opinion, makes it a genuinely amazing subject. Just a few other courses have roots in both math and psychology, but economics, in my opinion, is one that really helps people understand how the two are related.

I spent a lot of time reading about international affairs and watching the news, and discovering the atrocities and difficulties that the entire globe constantly faces feeds my interest for economics. As far as the human race has progressed, I think there is still so much more we can do to better the lives of people everywhere by developing and learning. The world can be changed, I believe, if I study economics in college. I want to reduce the wealth gap that causes some people to live luxurious lives while many others experience poverty when it doesn’t have to be that way.

I studied math, English literature, physics, and economics at the AS level. One of the first times I really encountered the subject was when I studied economics at as-level; studying it from scratch just made it more fascinating to understand. As both micro and macro economics are important to how nations are administered on a worldwide scale and because I believe that learning and using knowledge of both is crucial for the improvement of civilizations everywhere, I find both fields to be really fascinating to learn.

Despite the fact that I still find math to be enjoyable, economics has truly made me realize just how much math is rooted in reality. This indicates that I have a strong interest in the mathematical part of mathematics because one of my favorite fields of study within economics is econometrics. I find it so fascinating because it seems to me that we can anticipate human behavior and almost foretell the future using these models and equations. In that sense, one could almost consider economics to be mystical; it piques my intense curiosity, and I’d love to learn more about it.

Recently, I completed work experience at a management firm, which improved my organizational abilities and gave me a wealth of knowledge about enterprises and management—two fields that are deeply rooted in economic theory. I worked closely with the manager and company owner for a large portion of my time there, where I got to hear firsthand what it takes to launch and successfully run a firm. He taught me a lot of things that I had already learned in economics, and the fact that theory is being put to use in the real world is another reason I’m so interested in studying economics.

I’ve always been enthusiastic about doing new things and picking up new abilities, and I normally try to face any difficulties head-on. Being a participant in a girls guiding unit, I gained valuable teamwork skills as well as leadership abilities as I advanced to the senior section and pursued my young leaders certification. I’ve learned a lot about determination and long-term commitment through working toward my gold Duke of Edinburgh medal, and it has inspired me to explore a variety of new hobbies, like taking Ju Jitsu classes. When I learned self defense, practicing this martial art helped me gain a lot of new self-confidence. It also helped me develop my self-discipline.

Bạn có thể tham khảo nhiều hơn cách viết Personal Statement tại đây: https://universitycompare.com/personal-statement-examples

8.
