The given bar chart <\/span>portray<\/b><\/span> the percentages of the elderly populations in Germany, Canada and The United Kingdom in 1980, 2000 and 2030.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, Germany is always the highest while Canada has the lowest rate of all to begin with. In addition, all three countries increased over the period with Canada being the only one to more than double it\u2019s rate.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1980, Germany started with the highest proportion with 15%, whereas Canada and the UK were both just a few percent lower, staying at 10% and 13% respectively<\/strong><\/span>. By 2000, the elders\u2019 <\/span>demographic<\/b><\/span> in Germany had risen to 20%, while the others were at 15%. Finally, it\u2019s predicted that, in 2030, Germany will hit 25% while Canada may <\/span>leapfrog<\/b><\/span> the UK (at 17%) to 22%.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
