BREAKING THE LIMIT WITH ROUND 2 OF THE ESSAY WRITING CONTEST “YOUR FUTURE IS NOW”

After the success of Round 1, the essay writing contest at ETEST officially entered Round 2 with inspiring topics, promising to be a great opportunity for students to demonstrate their creative thinking and sharp reasoning skills.

Round 2 information:

• Topic: Candidates choose one of the following two topics:
  1. Describe a day in your life in the year 2035
  2. Write a conversation between yourself and your future self
• Format: Academic Essay
• Length: Maximum 650 words
• Language: English
• Deadline: 23:59 on 25/05/2025
• Submission method: Send PDF file via email scholarship@etest.edu.vn with title: [Full Name – Round 2 – Writing Contest]

Scoring criteria:

1. Clear structure and argument – the article should be presented logically, easily understood and coherently.
2. Academic in presentation and evidence – the way the problem is presented needs to be convincing and well-founded.
3. Creativity and personal opinion – unique ideas that reflect the writer's own personality.
4. Correct grammar, vocabulary and spelling – ensure linguistic accuracy.
5. Students may be asked to interview with a jury representative regarding the content of their entry.

Prize structure:

• First prize: 1 scholarship 100% IELTS/DIGITAL SAT course and cash 10,000,000 VND
• Second prize: 1 scholarship 100% IELTS/DIGITAL SAT course and cash 5,000,000 VND
• Third prize: 1 scholarship 50% IELTS/DIGITAL SAT course and cash 3,000,000 VND
• All candidates participating in round 2 receive a scholarship of 3,000,000 VND for IELTS/DIGITAL SAT course
