The GED exam in Vietnam is divided into 5 tests: (1) Language Arts, Writing; (2) Social Studies; (3) Science; (4) Language Arts, Reading; (5) Mathematics.
These tests are designed to test the knowledge and skills that students have acquired after 4 years of high school. GED tests in Vietnam include multiple choice questions and a Writing section in which students must provide short definitions and analysis answers to maps and tables.

The GED is the only high school equivalency exam recognized in all 50 states of the United States.
The test is given regularly every month and more than 18 million people have passed the GED exam.
